A Shop Page is an optional feature we can include with any CultivateWP theme. This adds an Affiliate Links section in the backend.
Shop Page Options
There are three ways we can design your shop page. You’ll decide which option you’d like during the design phase.
- Standard Archive. This automatically lists all products with the newest first, like a standard archive page (example).
- Category Archive. This automatically lists all products broken down by their Shop Category (example). If you have 3 shop categories, there will be 3 sections of products on your shop page.
- Manual Page. We can disable the automatic archive, and then you can manually build your own shop page using the Post Listing block and other blocks (example). This is best if you want to manually curate what users see on your shop page.
Shop This Post
You can also display affiliate links inside of posts using the Post Listing block.
Insert the Post Listing block, and then either (a) set the order to “Manual” and select your desired affiliate links in the Posts field, or (b) set the order to “Recent”, set the post type to “Affiliate Links” and select one of your Shop Categories to display the most recent posts in that specific category.
